Sheafwriter is made by devLNX Studio (Artur Myszka). This policy covers the Sheafwriter app on macOS, Windows and Linux, and this website.
The app collects nothing
Sheafwriter does not collect, store or send any personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.
Your projects, notes, backups and settings are saved only on your computer, in the folders you choose. We never see them. If you sync a project folder with a cloud service, that service's own privacy policy applies to those files.
App Store and TestFlight
If you install Sheafwriter through the Mac App Store or TestFlight, Apple handles the download and may share with us anonymous crash reports and, for TestFlight, the feedback you choose to send. Apple's privacy policy covers that data.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, kept only for a limited time.
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and we do not share them with anyone.
Children
Sheafwriter collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes and contact
